ABOUT CHRIS:

Before I was a teacher and not yet a student I was simply searching. Like a lot of people I wanted to live with less stress, feel happier, sleep better, be more productive. I looked for the answers in exercise, shopping, dieting, not dieting, going on vacation, not wanting to come back from vacation, reading books, attending seminars and listening to guided meditations. And to be quite honest I was always looking for a way to be more competitive in my real estate career in New York City.

One day in a coffee shop, I found meditation (or maybe it found me). I went to an introductory talk that I told myself I was way too busy to attend. I then completed a four-day course, which I definitely thought I did not have time for. I have been meditating ever since. It requires a short amount of time with really just a little willingness and you can learn, just like I did.

You don’t need to be a monk, you don’t need to give up anything. You can wear what you want, eat anything you want and you can still learn to meditate. You more than likely will ultimately let go of an attachment to stress, but you can even hold on to that for a little while if you really want to.

I can teach you to meditate. I’m an expert at it.

In 2014 I completed intensive teacher training in the foothills of the Himalaya in India under the guidance of world renowned master Thom Knoles. I’ve been teaching ever since, from NYC to LA, to the other side of the globe and back again. I’ve led retreats in Bali and the United States, implemented a meditation course for the Department of Health and Human Services of Los Angeles, and have spoken about meditation and remaining calm for Columbia University and companies large and small in NYC and Los Angeles.
