RESULTS (or why do we even meditate in the first place?)
Potential benefits:
An increased sense of personal calm, better sleep patterns, improved performance in mental & physical activity, lower blood pressure, increased confidence, less fear. There are many more and we will talk about them.
I have had students that have experienced dynamic change in their lives, who have been able to navigate extreme personal and professional experiences with greater ease. We start living with less friction. By increasing our creative intelligence we implement the ability to live a happier life for ourselves. It’s a win-win for everyone.
This simple yet powerful practice can help us navigate even the harshest situations with greater adaptability and equanimity.
I recently had a student tell me, with a huge smile on her face, that after meditating for two years she was “not sure if it is working but she sure does enjoy meditating and how she feels” (I’m pretty sure it is working btw).
One of the beauties of this practice to me however is how much more we start to notice (and enjoy) the subtle things in our lives. When this happens we drastically increase our potential to feel truly fulfilled and to develop lasting change. We start living much more in the present so that we can move more powerfully into the future. Then we can leave the past exactly where it belongs.
Reach out, ask questions and I hope to meditate with you soon.
